Willow & WildFlower Developmental Pediatrics
Developmental Pediatrician
Serving Macon, GA
Specialized Care About 90 Minutes Up I-75
If you have been searching for a developmental pediatrician near Macon, Willow & WildFlower is a short drive north. Dr. Cierra M. Moss evaluates and supports children with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, behavioral concerns, and learning differences. Her approach is honest, warm, and focused on giving your family a clear path forward.
Care From a Behavioral Doctor for Kids Who Sees the Whole Child
Children are more than a list of symptoms. Dr. Moss looks at how your child communicates, learns, plays, sleeps, and handles daily routines. She also asks about strengths, because those shape the plan as much as the challenges do.
Families come to us with different starting points. Some have a referral from a pediatrician or a teacher in the Bibb County School District. Others simply have a feeling something is off. Both are good reasons to reach out.
Military families near Robins Air Force Base are welcome as well. Bring records from past providers, and Dr. Moss will use them to build a fuller picture.
Developmental and Behavioral Services for Macon Families
From first questions to ongoing support, Dr. Moss offers care across five areas.
Careful evaluations that consider communication, social skills, behavior, and how your child experiences everyday life.
Diagnosis and ongoing care for children with attention, focus, and impulse control challenges.
Support for children who are reaching milestones later than expected, including speech and motor delays.
Guidance for families facing behavior that is hard to understand, from early childhood through adolescence.
Evaluation and recommendations for children with learning challenges or suspected learning disorders.
ADHD Therapy for Kids: What a Plan May Include
ADHD care is not one-size-fits-all. After an evaluation, Dr. Moss builds a plan around your child’s age, needs, and environment. It may draw on several of these supports.
Parent Training in Behavior Strategies
Parents learn practical tools for routines, rewards, and limits. This approach is often a first step for younger children.
Skill-Building Therapy
Therapy can help older children build organization, coping, and social skills that make school and friendships easier.
Classroom Supports
Changes like a better seat, shorter assignments, or extra time can help children show what they know.
Medication When Appropriate
For some children, medication is part of the plan. Dr. Moss explains the options, benefits, and side effects so you can decide together.
Regular Follow-Up
Needs change as children grow. Follow-up visits let Dr. Moss adjust the plan as your child does.
Signs of ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder in Young Children
Some signs point more toward ADHD, others toward autism, and some can appear with both. Consider an evaluation if you notice:
- Delayed speech or limited back-and-forth conversation
- Little interest in pointing, showing, or sharing with others
- Difficulty sitting still or waiting, well beyond peers
- Repetitive movements or very focused interests
- Big reactions to transitions or changes in routine
- Trouble following directions at home and in the classroom
- Sensitivity to sounds, clothing, or food textures
A full evaluation can show whether your child has ADHD, autism, both, or something else entirely.
